ANEW Holdings and Jindal Stainless Limited Launches Co-Working Space for Indian AgriTech Start-Ups, in Collaboration with Japan, U.S. and Indian Corporations

Tokyo, Los Angeles, November 8, 2017 — ANEW Holdings Inc. (Head Office: Minato-ku Tokyo, Representative Yuji Fujinaga and Wataru Ito) will join together with the leading Indian manufacturer of stainless steel, Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL, New Delhi, India), for the co-establishment of the ‘India-Japan Collaboration Program for AgriTech Start-ups’ in November 2017.

Simultaneously, JSL also launched a co-working space in its Gurgaon office on the same day to provide Agriculture Technology (AgriTech) start-ups with a platform to network and collaborate with Japanese companies, through an intensive program led by experienced mentors from Japan, the United States and India.

As a part of this initiative, a 3-month Accelerator Program will be conducted at the JSL office in Gurgaon for selected start-ups that have　strategic collaborations with seed stage investors, venture partners from 3Lines Venture Fund (USA) and Rockies Venture Club (USA), and other major corporations from both India and Japan. The start-ups will be provided by JSL with facilities in Odisha state to test and market their products and give farmers training in order to build superior business models. Our united goals are to promote disruptive AgriTech Start-ups across the globe, create social impact through innovation and increase the income of farmers across India.
